A tutoring platform that connects students and parents with teachers: search and compare, book real open slots, pay online, learn in a virtual classroom, and follow progress in one place. Live as a beta; payments and video are not enabled yet.
The problem
Many students look for a private tutor in WhatsApp groups or through word of mouth. Prices, ratings and availability are scattered, and there is no clear follow-up on what each lesson achieved.
The solution
A teacher marketplace that shows only truly free slots and makes double-booking impossible, payments confirmed directly with the payment gateway, a virtual classroom with a shared whiteboard, chat and files, and a teacher report after every lesson for the student and the parent.

Verified outcomes
- Tests for booking, payment, refund, package and classroom rules pass in the test environment, plus a two-browser test covering booking, sandbox payment, joining the classroom and writing the report. The platform is live, but real payments and video are not enabled yet, and the iPhone app has not been tested on a physical device.
How it works
Trust before features
- A teacher appears to students only after their credentials are reviewed.
- No payment is accepted until it is confirmed directly with the payment gateway.
- The teacher's pay and the platform commission are counted when a lesson is delivered, not when it is paid, and nothing is paid out while a student's report is under review.
How it is built
- Pricing, scheduling and learning-plan rules are written in TypeScript and shared between the server, the web and the phone app.
- A Node.js server with PostgreSQL, a live whiteboard and chat over WebSocket, and video through LiveKit.
- A native iPhone app with React Native (Expo), and an Arabic React web app.
