Wijha | وِجهة
An AI travel planner: describe your destination and budget in your own words, and it searches the web to build a day-by-day plan at three budget levels with sources, then tracks your spending on the trip.

The problem
Planning a trip means hours of searching across sites and comparing prices, and then the plan and the spending get lost in notes and group chats on the road.
The solution
An app you describe your trip to in one sentence. It uses Claude with live web search to build three complete plans with their days and budget split, citing a source for each fact. On the trip, it reads receipts from a photo, converts currencies, and suggests nearby places that fit the remaining budget.
Verified outcomes
- Published on TechCore, with a clearly labeled illustrative example.
- 8 API tests and 45 end-to-end interface checks in both languages on mobile and desktop, all passing.
How it works
Wijha turns a sentence like “Georgia for 6 days with the family, budget 12,000 SAR” into a complete travel plan.
Design principles
- Honest prices: every price is an estimated range from search, and the app says so; Wijha doesn’t book or pay.
- Visible sources: every plan lists the pages it was built from, cited ones first.
- Privacy: share links show the plan only, and location is sent once for a “near me” search and not stored.
Architecture
- A dependency-free JavaScript interface, with a server on Cloudflare Pages Functions and a Cloudflare D1 database.
- Claude with the web search tool runs only on the server; the API key never reaches the browser, and each user has a daily limit.
- One TechCore account works in both Wijha and QARAR.
